Judging qualifications:
I was a competitive prose/poetry interpretation and CX debater throughout high school. I was the head of the speech team at my school for three of my four years in high school and have helped other members of my high school with the preparation of their pieces and cases since I graduated. I am a senior at Baylor University majoring in Film and Digital Media and have continued my avid involvement in current issues and all things competitive speaking throughout my college career.

Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quality of evidence is more important than quantity of evidence
Paradigm: Debaters professional speaking ability effects the delivery of their points and issues greatly. Ability to stay cool under pressure and explain their points thoroughly and effectively is pivotal for their stance. Stock Issues are the primary judging criteria for rounds. Other arguments will be considered in a close round.
