Judging qualifications:
I participated in CX debate in high school, advancing to the state level and receiving second place at the state tournament in Austin. I was the only female to advance to second day competition, and I received 4th place speaker that year. I love debate and speech, and I would love the opportunity to work with students in order to build their confidence and enhance their experience in debate.

Judging Philosophy

Rounds judged: 0
Judging approach: Stock Issues
Policy priority: Resolution of substantive issues is more important than communication skills
Evidence philosophy: Quality of evidence is more important than quantity of evidence
Paradigm: While I prefer a clear communicator, I judge as a stock issues judge. The affirmative team must be able to stand firm on its case. The affirmative team's plan must be structurally clear and able to solve for the issues at hand. Additionally, the case must be topical, and the team should be able to easily defend its topicality.
