Judging Philosophy

Rounds judged: 0
Judging approach: Other (please explain below)
Policy priority: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
Evidence philosophy: Quality of evidence is more important than quantity of evidence
Paradigm: I have not judged this catagory to date.

Rounds judged: 4
Approach: Communication skills and resolution of substantive issues are of equal importance
I look at several factors, did the state and support their case? Do they stay on topic? How logical and persuasive is thier argument and how well do they use cross examination. I also factor in clarity of speech and overall communication skills.
