Judging qualifications:
I have competed in Prose and Poetry for six years now. During my tenure in high school I was a four year state qualifier in Poetry Interpretation at UIL, finaling in 2010 and being the 3A State Runner-up in 2012. I have also finaled Poetry Interpretation at the National Forensics League National Tournament in 2012 placing 4th and semi-finaling Prose Interpretation. I have also qualified to the AFA and NFA National Tournaments in Poetry for the last 2 years. I have also qualified to the AFA national tournament in Program Oral interpretation which combines both poetry and prose together to make an argument. I have seen poetry and prose in many different forms and understand the value that these events hold in this activity.
