Judging Philosophy

Rounds judged: 16
Judging approach: stock issues
Policy priority: Equal
Evidence philosophy: quality
Paradigm: I am normally a stock issues judge. However I do, on occasion due to recent dilutions to the sport, open up to all arguments. Meaning being open to coherent argumentation. In other words I'm not too hot on conditionality. Speed is allowed in my rounds to the point where it is understood properly. Kritiks and Counterplans are ok if done intelligently and are understood by the teams giving them. Topicality is a very important deciding factor.

Rounds judged: 12
Approach: Equal
I am a traditionalist. I like a lot of clash and comparison of cases.
