Philosophy:
I believe that the way to win any LD debate is simple. I need to hear clear sound reasoning and arguments delivered in a comprehensible manner. I believe that the strength of the arguments presented are only strengthened by the effectiveness of communicating those arguments. If the communication skills hinder my ability to be able to comprehend the arguments presented, that will reduce a debater’s score. If the communication skills are excellent but the argument is weak however, the score will be reduced much more. Excellent delivery is expected, poor delivery however will not reduce the score as much as poor arguments.
