Judging Philosophy

Rounds judged: 6-10
Judging approach: tabula rosa
Policy priority: Equal
Evidence philosophy: equal
Paradigm: I will listen to any argument made, however, I strongly dislike kritiks. Other than that, stock issues weigh heavily on my decision, they should not be understated. DA's, counterplans and topicality arguments should not cloud the round but they do play a significant role. Above all else, don't lose the significance of the round/resolution by stacking the round with miscellaneous arguments.

Rounds judged: 3-5
Approach: Equal
This is value debate. Value is the single most important issue. Criterion is equally as important. There should never be any sort of plan/counterplan anything. This is not CX. Do not try to make it into a CX round.
