Judging qualifications:
I live in California currently but I am in Texas several times a month. I will be in Texas during the Regional and State Meets and during some Invitational Meets and District Meets. I graduated from SLC in 2010 with a BA in Political Science. I was in UIL speech during my high school years and also competed in numerous TFA meets and the experience was so memorable that I want to volunteer my time for students who are just as passionate.

I really enjoy Lincoln Douglas debate because it is a debate over values. A value is something that is really impossible to prove which makes the debate interesting! My philosophy is the win goes to the debater who best upholds their side of the resolution through effective analysis, evidence reasoning, refutation, and delivery. Also very important (to me) is that I need to be able to follow the debater's train of thought and logic.
