Approach: Issues
Although I am familiar with legal paradigms and the commonly cited to philosophers used in LD I am not predisposed to any position. I expect debaters to frame arguments with a clear statement of the argument, analysis or authority supporting it and a conclusion or impact analysis why it matters to the debate. I would not dismiss or reject an argument that lacks a basic framework; however, I also should not be left having to put together a debater's arguments or figure out for myself why I should assign weight to the debater's arguments. I am comfortable with spreading to the extent that it does not interfere with the quality or clarity of analysis. Quality is superior to quantity.
