Judging qualifications:
Competed in 2 years of high school policy debate and one year of college LD debate. In high school I won numerous speaker awards and placed frequently in invitations. In second year we finished in top 8 at states. Have judged high school debate and college cross ex for 3 years. Also competed in 2 years of high school forensics (individual events) and one year in college. Finished in first place in extemp in every meet and regionals and placed in top 12 at state tournament. Judged all ie events from middle school through college; prefer public address but can do any. Helped host tournament in college. Helped middle school students practice. Finished second place with rhet crit piece in college. Communication major with 30 graduate credits in interpersonal and public communication (degree expected May 2010). Currently elementary school teacher. Love the art of communicating and desperately want to be a judge of high school speech and debate events again!
