Judging Philosophy

Rounds judged:
Judging approach: tabula rosa
Policy priority: Issues
Evidence philosophy: quality
Paradigm: Eloquence of speech is obviously important, and the awarding of speaker points should represent that. However, the win or loss of a debate is up the debaters. I am a tabula rasa judge, with a slight lean towards stock issues. If I am to make a decision in regards to stock issues, I expect to be persuaded to do so. I am open to kritiks, counter-plans, and I love a well done disadvantage. Quality of evidence is crucial. Cohesive, structured arguments are expected.
