Judging Philosophy

Rounds judged: 20
Judging approach: tabula rosa
Policy priority: Equal
Evidence philosophy: quality
Paradigm: My judging philosophy is Tabula Rasa (Tab). I believe that each team should tell me why they win the debate and why I should vote on certain arguments. Weighing arguments and giving voting issues in the round is very important to telling my why your team should win. I am ok with some speed but I must be able to hear your arguments and evidence. If I cannot understand what you are saying I will not flow the argument. I will vote on a Counter Plan or Kritik if they are ran correctly. You must understand and be able to explain what you are running, why you are running it, and how it affects the round. I will consider pretty much any type of argument as long as it is fully developed and then weighed in the round.
