Judging Philosophy

Rounds judged:
Judging approach: policy maker
Policy priority: Equal
Evidence philosophy: quality
Paradigm: Speaking skill is very important to me. I can handle speed, and appreciate it, as long as the speaker can still communicate and guides me on the flow. I traditionally take the Policymaker approach so if the affirmative can convince me that they present a better plan than the negative, or than the status quo, based on ads and disads, I'm going to vote aff.

Rounds judged:
Approach: Issues
I believe that communication style and skill is important, but essentially secondary compared to selling me on the issue and point of view.
