Judging Philosophy

Rounds judged:
Judging approach: tabula rosa
Policy priority: Equal
Evidence philosophy: quality
Paradigm: Tabs with preference to traditional argumentation than non-traditional. Will listen to anything and weigh it. In the end, winners will be judged on how well the points were argued and the quality of arguments.

Rounds judged:
Approach: Equal
Sources and evidence are less important than quality of argumentation. Must have coherent line of argumentation between contentions, criterion, and value. Criterion/Value relationship is highly important and needs to be grasped. Prefer reasonable speech speed and rhetorical skill rather than rapid-fire but will listen to anything.
