I competed in Poetry interpretation as a High School student. In high school, I competed at all levels of competition, placing 4th at the 1999 State UIL meet. While in college, I got my degree in Theatre while taking 30 hours worth of communication courses for my second teaching field. I have coached Oral Interpretation for three years on the high school level, qualifying readers for both regional and state competition.
