Judging Philosophy

Rounds judged:
Judging approach: tabula rosa
Policy priority: Issues
Evidence philosophy: equal
Paradigm: I am a tabula rasa judge. Any type of argument that is deployed on the flow and is extended to the 2NR/2AR is a voting issue for me, assuming you make it a voting issue. While I will vote on any argument, if the argument is extremely illegitimate, your speaker points will suffer. I can handle speed; however, it is not something I truly desire to hear. A fast conversational pace is my preference. However, I won't dock speaker points based off of speed unless the tournament director specifies otherwise. The best way to get top marks from me is to win a topicality debate.
