Judging Philosophy

CX

Rounds judged: 0
Judging approach: stock issues
Policy priority: Equal
Evidence philosophy: quality
Paradigm: I like clear, believable arguments, with real impacts. I don't like dropped arguments, if it isn't important- tell me why. I like extensions with an impact calculus at the end of the round. Tell me why I should vote for your team and what is wrong if I were to vote for the other team. I like clear speaking, I understand there is a lot to get to in a short amount of time- but this is a speaking event and I would enjoy hearing what you have to say.

LD

Rounds judged: 0
Approach: Equal
Philosophy:
I like clear, concise, arguments. I want clear speaking styles as well; I'm okay with speedy talking, but as long as your clear. I do not like spreading. I like sensible arguments with clear impacts and extensions throughout the round. Framework should be really strong, because that is what the bases of the case is. I go for any argument as long as you know how to defend it well. Same goes for philosophical arguments; I'd prefer empirical evidence, but as long as you can defend your philosophical arguments well, I could go for that too. I like voters and an impact calculus at the end to really show me who I should vote for.
