Judging qualifications:

Judging Philosophy

Rounds judged:
Judging approach: stock issues
Policy priority: Equal
Evidence philosophy: quality
Paradigm: Like most judges, I give heavy weight to stock issues with particular emphasis on inherency and significance. This is not to say that policy ramifications of the resolution are not important, but it is dangerous for the judge to wholly assume the role of the legislator as that could allow undue bias to affect the outcome. Debating skills and communication are vital for expression of the message, but are not my primary emphasis.
