Judging Philosophy

Rounds judged: 2
Judging approach: tabula rasa
Policy priority: Equal
Evidence philosophy: quality
Paradigm: Essentially, I am looking for the debaters to effectively and efficiently present their case/arguments in a persuasive manner, focusing on the rational cause and effects of the changes proposed. I do not mind theory arguments as long as the debater clearly understands the argument that he/she is making and can make sure I understand the argument. I do not have a problem with spreading, so long as I can still understand the debater, and the opposing side can understand the debater. Otherwise, it is not an effective argument.
