I competed in Persuasive Extemporaneous Speaking for 3 years in high school, and won 2nd place at State in 2006 and 2007. I competed in Lincoln Douglas Debate for 2 years in high school and won 1st place at District in 2007. I also competed in Poetry Interpretation in 2004 at the District level.

I am a flow judge. I expect debaters to defend their own values while successfully addressing their opponents' arguments. While critiquing their opponents' cases, debaters should also be able to pull through their own arguments in a convincing and persuasive manner. Speaker points are awarded for clarity, style, and courtesy within the round.
