Judging qualifications:
I currently coach LD at Grapevine High School with Jane Boyd, I regularly judge finals and outrounds at large TFA tournaments, and am often preferred well at national tournaments; as such, I feel I can offer educational, accurate, and transparent judging to the competitors. Judging Philosophy

CX

Rounds judged: 3
Judging approach: tabula rosa
Policy priority: Issues
Evidence philosophy: equal
Paradigm: I am open to whatever arguments are presented in the round. I have little experience in policy, but my LD paradigm applies here.

LD

Rounds judged: at least 150
Approach: Equal
Philosophy:
I am open to both progressive and traditional styles, and believe both have value. As such, I do not discriminate or reject styles or case formats on face, and enjoy creative and interesting arguments. My decision calculous is contingent on the framework/analysis given in the round. My full paradigm in on the public WikiSpaces under judge philosophies.
