Judging qualifications:
I was on the Debate team at Mesquite High School for three of my four years there. While on the debate team I participated in extemporaneous speaking and Lincoln Douglas Debate. I also helped the extemporaneous team find and file their articles in addition to helping other members on the team with their public speaking skills. I was also the president of that debate team my last year there. Finally, I placed second in my 2011 Lincoln Douglas Debate district meet, which made me eligible to compete in the Lincoln Douglas State competition.

Paradigm:

Approach: Equal
Philosophy:
When debating, one should have a solid case (especially their value and judging criterion) and speaking skills that when combined together, are able to persuade one to agree with them over their opponent. I plan to judge them in their effectiveness in these areas.
