Judging Philosophy

CX

Rounds judged: 0
Judging approach: stock issues
Policy priority: Equal
Evidence philosophy: equal
Paradigm: Breathe! Do not spread to the point of hyperventilation. No open CX. CX should be addressed towards the judge and not towards competitors. Abuse must be identified by the debaters, I will not determine win/loss on abuse that was not identified. All debaters should have a paper copy of their case in the event the opposition needs to see it. Computers may be used, but you will forfeit your entire computer if the other team requests a card that you only have on your computer. I will not set time limits on how long the opposition can hold your computer. Prep time is not additional CX, you may not speak to your opponent during prep time (yours or theirs). Eye contact is important. If you spend your entire constructive with your face buried in your paper, you cannot take ownership of the information.
