Judging Philosophy

Rounds judged: 0
Judging approach: stock issues
Policy priority: Equal
Evidence philosophy: quality
Paradigm: I judge based off of the stock issues. The Aff has to be able to explain the problem with the status quo with sufficient evidence and be able to give a resolution that would best fix the problem by explaining the advantages of their solution. I believe that the Aff has to uphold topicality, inherency, harms, solvency, and significance in order to win the round and if the neg. can affectively argue that the plan isn't sufficient, has flaws, or isn't needed they win the round. I also flow and part of my judging is based off of dropped points. However I'm not big on Kritiks or Counterplans.
