2018 SWIMMING & DIVING STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 2018 Swimming and Diving State Championships are scheduled for Feb. 16 and 17 at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swim Center on The University of Texas at Austin campus.
Conference 5A Swimming and Diving prelims will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday while 6A prelims are scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Finals on Saturday for Conference 5A will begin at 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. for 6A. A complete list of State Swimming & Diving Meet participants can be found on the UIL web site: www.uiltexas.org/swimming-diving/state.
Media credentials: Interested media outlets planning to cover the UIL Swimming & Diving State Championships must submit an online media credential request by noon Wednesday, Feb. 14. The Swimming & Diving Media Credential Request form can be found online at: https://www.uiltexas.org/form/media-credentials/request.php?sport=swimming. Requests should specify which school(s) your media outlet will be covering and list all representatives of your media outlet covering the event. All credentials may be picked up at the Jamail Texas Swimming Center Will Call ticket window (upper level).
Tickets: All seating is general admission. Ticket prices: Adults $12 and Students $7 per session; All-Tournament Pass $30. Persons wishing to come and go during the day should buy an all-tournament pass, as there will be no in and out privileges for session tickets.
UIL App: The UIL is pleased to announce the release of UIL State, the official mobile app for all UIL State Championships. The app features spectator information, schedules, team profiles, and live stats. It is free and available for immediate download in the App Store and Google Play.
Live Webcast: NFHS Network will provide live broadcasts of the 2017 UIL Swimming & Diving State Championship Finals on February 17 from the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swim Center.
