FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
AUSTIN— The Hearing Officer of the UIL State Executive Committee ruled on an appeal of forfeiture of contests for violations of section 1205.
El Paso High School was granted an appeal overturning the district executive committee decision requiring the school to forfeit all varsity baseball games. The hearing officer ruled that no unfair advantage was gained; therefore no games should be forfeited.
